Frequently asked questions

Are you open year-round?

Yes, we are open year-round. We see less traffic during the winter months, but if you are considering traveling during that time, please keep an eye on the weather and/or check with us via phone to discuss winter operations.

Do you allow tents?

No, we do not allow tent camping or outside sleeping of any kind. If you’d like to put up a shade canopy at your space, please check with the office to ensure it meets our requirements.

Where do I park my extra vehicle? Where do my guests park?

We allow one RV and one vehicle to park per site. If you have an additional vehicle or a guest visiting with an additional vehicle, we have overflow parking in a few areas throughout the park. The majority of overflow parking is located at the back of the park near the dumpsters, but there are a couple of spaces near the red restroom building across from the office as well. If you have any questions regarding extra parking, please feel free to call or stop by the office. We’ll be glad to point you in the right direction!

Do you offer monthly rates?

We only offer a monthly rate during our off-season, which is October 15th - March 15th. For more information regarding an off-season stay, please send us an email via the contact form or give us a call.

Do you have fire pits?

No, we do not have fire pits. While we allow you to bring your own propane fire pit and/or grill, we do not allow wood or charcoal burning due to the high fire risk common in our area.

Do you have Wi-fi?

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi during your stay. Park Wi-Fi is called RVGuest, and the password will be included on your site map at check in.

Do you allow fireworks in the park?

No, we do not allow fireworks in the park. We are, however, located in Missoula County just outside of city limits, where fireworks are allowed as long as the area is not under fire restrictions at the time. The neighborhood behind the park and houses in the surrounding areas will likely shoot fireworks during holidays, so please prepare accordingly.

When is check-in and/or check-out?

Check-out is at 11 AM daily, while check-in is Noon or later. Please call us if you have questions regarding check-out and/or check-in times.

I have a special request for my stay. How do i ensure you know?

If you’re booking online, please be sure to leave a note about your special request. While we cannot guarantee each request will be met, we do try our best to ensure you’re happy during your visit! You may also contact us by phone or email any time to let us know.

Do you have a dog park on site?

Yes! We have a small dog park that’s perfect for your furry friend to stretch their legs off leash. For the comfort of all guests and pets, we ask that you follow the dog park rules listed near the park’s gate.

Do you allow EV charging?

No, we do not allow charging of electric vehicles at the park. We currently do not have the infrastructure necessary for it. If you need to charge your electric vehicle, there are charging stations conveniently located at the Flying J Truck Stop just up the hill.

How to i put in my Good Sam or Military discount?

To redeem promo codes online, be sure to add in the appropriate promo code during checkout. You must enter your guest information in order to get to the checkout screen, where an order summary should appear on the right-hand side. At the bottom of the order summary section, there is a small green line that states “Enter a Promo Code,” or something similar. Click the link and a box for the promo code will appear. Type in the code you’d like to use and the booking engine will automatically add the discount to your order if it is a valid code.

Please note, multiple discounts and/or promo codes cannot be combined. All discount codes are listed in the Special Offers section on the Reservations page, as well as our park profile on the Campspot booking engine.

What is the Lock Site Fee? Is it an additional charge?

Yes, the lock site fee is a completely optional additional charge. When you make a reservation, the site type (i.e. 50 AMP, pull thru) chosen at the time of booking is guaranteed simply by booking. We do not guarantee specific site numbers, so it is possible that your site location will change from the one you originally chose.

However, when booking you have the completely optional ability to pay a $50 non-refundable lock site fee to lock in the exact space (i.e. E12 or F13) you are choosing. If you don’t want to pay that fee, rest assured, you will get a lovely space with all of the amenities you’ve reserved and we will retain some flexibility in shuffling reservations appropriately. Please note, all lock site fees are non-refundable.

What is your Cancellation & Refund Policy?

All reservations are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the required one night deposit. This non-refundable deposit will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

For multi-night reservations, if you do not contact us 48 hours or more in advance of your arrival AND do not arrive on your scheduled arrival date, you forfeit your remaining reservation and the space will be released to other guests.

We are happy to make adjustments to your reservation at no charge up to 48 hours before your currently scheduled arrival date. Changes to your reservation are subject to availability. If we cannot accommodate your changes and you decide to cancel your reservation, the cancellation policy still applies.

By reserving a space with your credit card (as required for all reservations), you are authorizing us to enforce the cancellation policy.

If you need to shorten your stay, refunds may be given for unused nights if we are notified by 11:00 am on the day BEFORE your new departure date. We do not offer refunds for weather conditions, wildfire smoke or other circumstances outside of our control.

Are you Mary and/or Jim?

Nope! Jim & Mary started the park in the 1980s. The current owners purchased the park from Jim & Mary in 2000 and decided to keep the name. While many changes have been made since then, the name has always remained the same.

While our office ladies hear this the most, our men on staff do get this question at least once each summer. We do have a Jim on staff; he likes to say “He’s Jim, but not that Jim.”
